No shortcuts. No assumptions. Just engineered, documented, and certified steel.

This is how we make sure your mast doesn’t just "stand" it stands for 25+ years on your exact ground.

1. Precision Survey
What it is: We come to your site with GPS, total stations, and drones to map every detail.

Why it matters: We check ground elevation, access roads, and nearby obstacles like buildings or treesWe confirm mast location, orientation, and clearance for guy wires and foundations We avoid costly rework by getting coordinates and levels 100% accurate before fabrication startsResult: The design fits the site on day one. No surprises during erection.

2. Soil Analysis / Geotechnical Test
What it is: We drill boreholes and test the soil to know what’s under the surface.
Why it matters: We measure bearing capacity, soil type, water table, and compaction This tells us if you need a pad foundation, piled foundation, or reinforced base A tower is only as strong as the ground it sits on. Wrong soil data = settlement, tilt, or collapseResult: The foundation is engineered specifically for your soil, not copied from another site.

3. Climate-Specific Wind-Load Modeling
What it is: We use 20+ years of local weather data + NCC/NERC codes to simulate wind forces on your mast.

Why it matters: Coastal areas, open plains, and urban corridors all have different gust speeds and turbulence We model wind speed, direction, and equipment load to calculate stress on every member and bolt We design bracing, guying, and member thickness for your zone, not a generic "one-size" Result: The mast is rated to survive the worst storms in your region without over-engineering cost.

CERTIFIED ENGINEERING: STAAD.Pro, AutoCAD & PE-Certified Designs.
This is where your mast goes from idea → to certified drawings → to steel that won’t fail.

1. STAAD.Pro Structural Modeling
What it is: Industry-standard 3D structural analysis software used by telecoms and EPCs worldwide.

Why it matters:
We model the full tower + all equipment: radios, cables, platforms, ladders, antennas
We simulate dead load, wind load, seismic load, and ice load to test every beam and bolt We optimize member sizes so the mast is strong enough, but not overbuilt and overpriced

Result: A mathematically proven design. No guesswork. Rated for the exact loads it will carry for 25 years.

2. AutoCAD Detailing
What it is: Precision 2D/3D fabrication drawings for every plate, angle, bolt, and weld.

Why it matters:
Each lattice section, base plate, and bracing connection is detailed to mm accuracy Weld types, bolt grades, and galvanizing specs are all called out The shop floor builds directly from these drawings. No interpretation needed

Result: Faster fabrication, zero errors, and perfect fit-up on site. What we draw is what gets erected.

3. PE-Certified Designs
What it is:
Designs reviewed and stamped by a licensed Professional Engineer.

Why it matters:
A PE takes legal responsibility that the design meets NCC, NERC, and international codes Required by most telecoms, banks, and insurers before site approval It proves the mast is safe for your team, your equipment, and the public

Result: Bankable, insurable, and approval-ready documentation. No delays with clients or regulators.

PRECISION FABRICATION: CNC Steel, Welding & Corrosion Protection
This is where engineering turns into steel that won’t rust, bend, or fail for decades.
1. CNC-Cut Steel
What it is: Computer Numerical Control machines laser/plasma cut every angle, plate, and gusset to exact specs from the AutoCAD drawings.

Why it matters: Zero human error. Hole sizes, bolt patterns, and angles are accurate to ±1mm Every tower section is identical and interchangeable No grinding, re-drilling, or "forcing" parts on site
Result: Perfect fit-up during erection. Faster install, lower labor cost, and a cleaner structure.

2. Submerged-Arc Welding / SAW
What it is:
An automated welding process where the arc is buried under flux. Used for all main joints and base plates.

Why it matters: Deeper penetration and stronger welds than manual welding Uniform, defect-free welds with full traceability Tested for porosity and cracks. Meets AWS D1.
1. Structural Standards
Result:
Joints that are stronger than the steel itself. Critical for wind and vibration loads on telecom masts.

3. ISO 1461 Hot-Dip Galvanising + Epoxy Protection
What it is:
A 2-layer defense system for 25+ year corrosion-free life.

Layer 1 - Hot-Dip Galvanising ISO 1461: We dip the entire fabricated tower in molten zinc at 450°C. The zinc bonds to the steel and seals every edge, inside and out.
Why it matters: This is the global standard for telecom towers. It self-heals small scratches.
Layer 2 - Epoxy Coating: We add an epoxy topcoat on high-corrosion zones: coastal areas, base sections, and guy anchor points.
Why it matters: Double protection against salt, humidity, and industrial pollution common in Nigeria.
Result: A mast that laughs at rain, sun, and sea breeze. No repainting. No rust. No maintenance headaches..

EXPERT INSTALLATION: From Ground to Go-Live
This is where design and fabrication become a tower that’s plumb, safe, and ready for equipment.
1. Foundation Templates
What it is: Precision steel jigs that hold anchor bolts in exact position before concrete is poured.
Why it matters:
. Every bolt pattern matches the tower base to ±2mm
. No misalignment = no field modifications, no cutting, no delays
. We set levels and orientation so the tower stands perfectly vertical
Result: The foundation and tower mate perfectly on erection day. First-time fit.

2. Reinforced Concrete Foundations
What it is:
Engineered concrete + rebar bases designed from your Site Intelligence soil report.
Why it matters:
. We use the right mix, depth, and rebar layout for your soil and wind zone
. Options: pad foundation, piled foundation, or rock anchor depending on terrain
. 28-day cure monitoring and test cubes to prove strength
Result: A base that locks the tower to the ground. No settlement, no tilt, even in storms.

3. Tower Erection
What it is:
Section-by-section assembly using cranes or gin poles by certified riggers.
Why it matters: Each section is bolted to torque spec and checked for plumb with total stations Safety: 100% tie-off, lift plans, and HSE compliance for every crew We install ladders, platforms, cable trays, and aviation lights as we go
Result: A straight, true tower built to the certified drawings. No shortcuts.

4. Certified Guy Tensioning
What it is:
Precision tensioning of guy wires on guyed masts using dynamometers.
Why it matters: Uneven tension causes tower lean and vibration fatigue We tension in stages to manufacturer and PE specs, then re-check after 30 days Every guy anchor is load-tested and logged
Result: A stable mast that handles wind sway without stressing members. Maximizes tower life.

Put Together: "Nationwide Teams. One Standard."
Template It → Bolt positions are perfect
Pour It → Foundation matches the soil and load
Raise It → Erected plumb and to code
Tension It → Guys balanced and certified

. Built by Beejay Mast Tower Construction Ltd. Mast teams across Nigeria.
. Same process,
. Same quality,
. Whether your site is in Maiduguri or Port Harcourt. We don’t hand off and disappear.
We install it, certify it, and hand you a tower ready for radios etc.

COMMISSIONING & HANDOVER: Signed, Sealed, Tower Delivered
This is where we prove the tower is built right, safe, and ready for your network to go live.
1. As-Built Documentation
What it is: The full project record showing exactly what was built vs what was designed.
Why it matters: Updated AutoCAD drawings with any field changes Material test certificates, weld reports, galvanizing certificates, concrete test cubes Bolt torque logs, foundation records, and equipment load schedule
Result: You get a "birth certificate" for the tower. Needed for audits, insurance, future upgrades, and NCC compliance.
2. Lightning Protection Testing
What it is: Full test of the tower’s earthing and air terminal system.
Why it matters: We test earth resistance with a megger.

Target: <10 ohms per NCC/NERC code Continuity check from air terminal → tower → earth pit Verify surge protection and bonding for all equipment mounts
Result: Your radios, RRUs, and team are protected. One strike won’t take down the site or the mast.

3. Structural Integrity Audit
What it is:
Final PE-supervised inspection before handover.
Why it matters:
. Plumb check: Tower verticality verified with total station
. Bolt check: 100% torque verification on all structural bolts
.  Weld, guy tension, and alignment audit against STAAD.Pro design
.  Defect list closed out and signed
Result: Independent proof that the tower meets design load and safety standards. No hidden issues.

4. Final Client Sign-Off
What it is:
Joint inspection + handover certificate.
Why it matters:
. You walk the site with our team and tick off every item
.  O&M manual, as-builts, and test reports handed over
.  Warranty activation starts from this date
Result: Project Complete. Responsibility transfers to you with full confidence.

Put Together: "Project Complete"
. Document It → Every detail recorded
. Test It → Lightning and safety systems verified
. Audit It → Structure proven to spec
. Sign It → You approve, we hand over the keys No loose ends. No "we’ll send it later."

You get a compliant, certified, ready-to-load tower on day one.

Quality Assurance.

At Beejay Mast Tower Construction Company Ltd, material selection is not guesswork. It’s engineered.

Because our towers are exposed to wind, salt, rain, and sun for 25+ years, we use a 5-point process to qualify every outsourced material:

1. ENGINEERING SPEC FIRST
Every project starts with STAAD. Pro + AutoCAD design. From that we extract the exact material grade, thickness, and load requirement. Example: A 60m self-supporting tower in a coastal area will specify S355J2 Steel + ISO 1461 HDG + Epoxy vs S235 for inland. We don’t outsource "steel". We outsource to a spec.

2. CLIMATE & SITE MATCHING
We run wind-load, soil, and corrosion analysis during Site Intelligence.

3. THINGS BEFORE WE DEAL

Corrosion Grade: Hot-dip galvanizing thickness + epoxy for coastal/high humidity Wind Grade: Steel tensile strength and bolt grade for high wind zones Material Type: Steel vs Aluminum. Aluminum for mobile/rapid-deploy. Steel for permanent 120m towers.

4. VENDOR QUALIFICATION & TESTING
We only outsource to ISO-certified mills and fabricators. Before approval:
Mill Test Certificate - Chemical + mechanical properties Galvanizing Test - Coating thickness per ISO 1461 Sample Approval - Weld test, bend test, salt-spray test
If it fails, it doesn’t enter our yard. No exceptions.

5a. SAFETY + COMPLIANCE CHECK
All outsourced materials must meet: NCC Standards for telecom, NERC for power, ICAO for aviation lighting, and HSE for erection. We also check traceability. Every bolt, plate, and pole must be batch-traceable for integrity audits during handover.

5. COST + LEAD TIME + DURABILITY BALANCE
We score 3 suppliers on a matrix: Factor why it matters to BeejayMast™ Durability must deliver 25+ year design life Compliance must pass PE stamp + client approval Lead Time Nationwide delivery cannot wait Cost Competitive, but never at the expense of safety Lowest price never wins alone. The supplier with the best Quality + Delivery
+ Certification gets the PO.

The BeejayMast™ Rule:
"Buy once. Buy right. Install once." Outsourcing is cheaper, but rework is expensive.
So we over-spec materials slightly, then protect them with hot-dip galvanizing + epoxy to survive Nigeria’s climate.

This is why we can offer maintenance contracts and 25-year structural life guarantees.

"GALVANIZED MAST PIPES: THE BACKBONE OF RELIABLE TELECOM INFRASTRUCTURE"

Every strong telecommunications network begins with what holds it up. Behind every signal transmitted, every call connected, and every data packet delivered lies a structure engineered to endure - rain, wind, corrosion, and time. That structure starts with the pipe.

Galvanized steel pipes remain the industry standard for mast and tower construction, and for good reason. Hot-dip galvanization coats the steel in a protective layer of zinc, shielding it from rust and environmental degradation for decades - even in Nigeria's humid coastal climate or harsher inland conditions. Combined with high-tensile strength steel sections, properly fabricated and welded lattice or tubular pipe structures can carry heavy antenna loads, resist high wind pressure, and remain structurally sound long after installation.

The best pipes for telecom mast construction share three qualities...

Part 1 : Material Durability & Corrosion Resistance.
The primary metals used in telecom infrastructure construction each offer different levels of resistance to environmental degradation:

 HOT-DIP GALVANIZED STEEL:
Zinc-coated steel offering 25–50 years of service life, depending on climate exposure. The zinc layer corrodes sacrificially, protecting the underlying steel, and can be reinforced with epoxy coatings for extended durability.

STAINLESS STEEL:
The most corrosion-resistant option, capable of 50+ years even in coastal or high-salinity environments, due to its chromium oxide layer that continuously self-repairs.

WEATHERING STEEL (COR-TEN) :
Forms a protective rust patina in dry, temperate climates, but performs poorly and corrodes continuously in humid or coastal regions.

ALUMINIUM :
Naturally corrosion-resistant through oxide layer formation, but structurally weaker than steel, limiting its use to lighter or smaller-scale masts.

NON-GALVANIZED MILD STEEL:
The least durable option; without protective coating, it typically fails within 5–10 years in humid or coastal environments..
NEFIK COLLECTIVE VOICES

Part 2:  Structural Strength, Cost, and Practical Application.
Durability alone doesn't determine suitability, structural performance and cost-efficiency at scale matter equally:

GALVANIZED STEEL :
delivers the strongest cost-to-strength ratio, making it practical for tall, heavy-load telecom towers carrying multiple antennas and transmission equipment.

STAINLESS STEEL:
while superior in raw corrosion resistance, is significantly more expensive to source and fabricate (requiring specialized welding), which limits its large-scale structural use to smaller components like fittings and antenna mounts rather than full tower frames.

ALUMINUM:
is favoured for portability and light-load applications - rooftop installations or temporary/mobile masts - but lacks the load-bearing capacity for large, permanent lattice towers.

WEATHERING STEEL AND MILD STEEL:
are generally unsuitable for large-scale, long-term telecom infrastructure due to inconsistent or short-lived protection in most real-world climates.
Ambassadors Magazine

Part 3: Global Verdict and Industry Standard
When durability, structural performance, and
cost-efficiency are weighed together,
HOT-DIP GALVANIZED STEEL REMAINS THE GLOBAL INDUSTRY STANDARD - For Telecom Mast Construction Tower, particularly in humid or coastal regions similar to Nigeria's climate:

While stainless steel technically offers a longer raw corrosion-resistance lifespan, it does not deliver the same durability-per-cost value at structural scale, which is the metric that matters most for tall, load-bearing telecom infrastructure. This is precisely why galvanized steel remains the material of choice across the global telecom construction industry - and the standard that Beejay Mast Tower Construction Company Ltd:

builds its masts and towers from.  It is important
to clarify that no form of cast or wrought iron, however processed, matches the structural performance required for modern telecom mast and tower construction. Iron in its raw or cast state lacks the tensile strength, ductility, and weldability necessary to withstand decades of wind load, vibration, and dynamic stress at height. The material that does meet this standard is galvanized steel, an engineered alloy of iron and carbon, refined for strength, and protected by a zinc coating that delivers proven corrosion resistance across decades of service.
